"Maybe," he says, grinning at him as their foreheads touch.
Yuki's not fooling anyone. Akaya knows Yukimura thrives just as much on the challenge as he does. It might not always be stress-free, but he thinks it's well worth the whirlwind. Akaya doesn't just prefer spice in his food, after all.
He reaches up and runs the back of his fingers down Yukimura's cheek.
He's still grinning when Yukimura leans in for the kiss. Always a little cocky, yes. But there can be some uncertainty, too. It makes the moment better, more real. If Akaya says what he means, then Yukimura shows it. Or so he'd like to believe. He slides that hand behind Yukimura's neck and pulls him into a deeper kiss.
And now it's okay. Ultimately it doesn't matter much whether breaking the ice happens by pretending the fight never happened or by acknowledging it did and slipping into some back and forth.
He doesn't rush the kiss, but guides it towards a natural close rather than encourage it to grow into a full-blown makeout session. This isn't really the place for that, and baby steps, after all.
"How much time do you have after we eat? I can find a couple of hours."
The kiss doesn't last half as long as he'd like, and he makes a dissatisfied sound in the back of his throat when Yukimura pulls away. Akaya isn't an exhibitionist or anything, but he doesn't really care about privacy much, either.
"Depends on how long it takes us to eat," he says, cheeky. The quicker they finish up here, the quicker they can get to other things. Since Yukimura is going to insist on eating dinner of all things, at a restaurant.
Yuki looks at him with some amusement. "Then I suggest you may want to browse the menu-- unless you already know what you're ordering?"
He can tell that Akaya is impatient. It's unsurprising; for someone so outwardly wild and independent, Akaya is a strongly affectionate sort, and it seems to take its toll especially when they're separated for a time, whether because of a fight or because of scheduling difficulties. It's hard for Yuki to admit, but it's one of the things he most likes about him.
This perhaps just isn't the most opportune time for it to manifest itself.
"What are you suggesting?" He asks through a quiet laugh that's torn between amusement and slight discomfort. Nothing against getting more intimate, but this is still a restaurant! It's just not the place for hickies and hand jobs.
Sure it's nothing. As Akaya nuzzles his ear, Yuki's hand glides up to his wrist and takes it in a gentle but firm clasp. And he turns his head just enough to put his mouth by Akaya's ear for a whisper.
"That's the opposite of what I'm going to do to you later..."
"Look who's talking," Yuki teases back. "Have you even spared two glances at the menu?"
Don't think he'll be leaving until he sees you eat real food. He knows better than anyone the crazy schedules of a music idol. One can only go so long subsisting on energy drinks and snacks.
"Pfft. Still acting like the captain. Fine, fine."
Akaya waves the waiter over with an impatient gesture and informs him of his order. Green curry with saffron rice, something pickled, and a beer. And he'll sit back making eyes at Yukimura until he's done ordering and they can hurry through this formality of dinner.
Old habits die hard, they say. Perhaps especially when they come from a place of caring. Satisfied with what Akaya orders, Yuki places his own order for a meal with grilled fish as the entree.
And once the waiter has left with their orders, he sends Akaya a look of feigned exasperation for those distracting eyes. Patience has never been the young man's strong suit, he knows. And he understands sexual desire, so he can't be too upset at the antics. Still, Yuki thinks quietly in the back of his mind: surely Akaya can appreciate spending some time together that isn't between the sheets?
With Akaya, what you see is what you get. He doesn't really make any excuses for himself. He wants something, he lets it be known. Yukimura is often the opposite. He can be so damn restrained. It's a strength of his, but Akaya finds it frustrating sometimes. Maybe that's why he likes provoking him like this in public.
He backs off though. They've only just decided to stop fighting, after all. He leans back in his seat.
"Asahikawa. We'll travel south through the islands from there, finishing in Okinawa," Yuki explained. "With the weather starting to get colder, I didn't want the north on the tail end." A few weeks could make a big difference this time of year.
"You're going to the beach without me?" he says with a smirk.
Though he knows Yukimura, it is no vacation for him, on tour. He's much too serious about his work for that. Nevertheless, he can tease him sometimes, because someone has to tell him to take it easy on occasion. Who else, if not him?
"I wouldn't dream of it," Yuki answered back smoothly with an amused smile. It wasn't even a lie; the thought of going to the beach while in the area had never occurred to him. He was going to be so busy doing tour business...
Of course, he could see that same tour going a little differently if it were Akaya's. Knowing him, he would find time to visit the beach.
"You can, if you want," he says graciously. Such a generous boyfriend! "In fact, maybe you should. Take a load off and enjoy the scenery. Or let me guess...you'd prefer a quiet zen garden or a temple somewhere?"
Though it's a shame, Akaya would like to see Yukimura in swimwear on occasion...
"I can what? Dream of it? That may have to suffice," he answers a bit ruefully. Some time to relax was nice once in a while, but touring was generally quite hectic. Rushing from one city to the next to set up stage, test run, perform, take down, and catch a bit of sleep before heading to the next destination and doing it again.
"For the record, I don't have anything against the beach." Granted, a quiet evening without crowds sounded more enticing than scorching sun and throngs of people.
"Good. Then you won't complain when I take you to one after your tour." Yuki shouldn't have to dream of things when he's got Akaya to make things happen. He grins.

And with that, he tilts his head enough to initiate a kiss.

Akaya smirks and sits back, pulling the neglected menu with him to glance at it.
"We should've met at my place."

That may well depend on the person, though.

Nothing salacious, really! Just a little something to tide him over.

'Later' is a relative term, after all. It doesn't have be that long.

He actually does pay attention, sometimes.
