The key to capturing a real authentic experience was to sneak in with all the regular crowd at the height of business hours. Cafe reviews might not be award-winning journalism, but that didn't mean they should be full of shit. Yukimi's write-up would be blunt and honest. Therefore, the pictures that accompanied his article ought to carry over the same authenticity, in his opinion.

"Ah, pretend I'm not here," he said, winking. Ideally, he would just snap photos of customers without asking first (it was more candid that way), but some people could get nasty if you didn't get permission. He was much too uninvested with this piece to bother with that sort of thing. The girl across the table seemed quite agreeable, which made his job that much easier.
